Earlier this year, a foolish prank involving some teenagers in Germany saw a boy end up stuck inside the compartment of an oversized parcel locker. In this case, the fire brigade had to be called in order for the boy to be freed.
Although there are no frequent reports of incidents such as these happening, manufacturers of parcel lockers are well aware of the problem whereby people could inadvertently get stuck inside a locker – either through a freak accident or foolishness.
