Many of Europe’s great historic cities, particularly in the south of the continent, have challenging urban environments for last mile delivery.

These heavily-populated cities may have undulating geography, traffic congestion and twisty streets, as well as historic residential buildings with no elevators.

Moreover, there may be little space to get planning permission for parcel lockers. Given all of this, how can last mile operators rise to these challenges?
